This game is not only a game of my own creation but also now one of my favorite games to play. I may be a little biased, but I’m personally a big fan of simple, fun games that involve drinking.
I made this game to be pretty easy and to the point (getting drunk that is). Therefore, the rules are fairly straightforward.
There is a deck of cards that each have a guilty pleasure on them. Some guilty pleasures are a little more sinful than others and as such, we call these finishers. The finishers have black hearts while the regular playing cards, the foreplay cards, have pink hearts. Each player takes turns selecting from the deck. If a player is guilty of the pleasure on the card, they must take the corresponding punishment. If the player is not guilty, they can select another player who they believe is guilty. The accused player must take the punishment only if they are guilty, if not, the accusing player must now take double the punishment. The player that completes the punishment keeps the playing card.
In the event of a disagreement on who is truly the guilty player, the group can take a vote. The majority vote is the final decision.
The game can be played in a few rounds or if you have the stamina, you can play until the entire deck is finished. The end goal is to have the least number of cards at the end of the game. The winner gets bragging rights, which in my friend group goes a pretty far way.
This is not only a fun Galentines game but also a game that my friends and I have decided to include in our regularly scheduled pre-games. Since it’s so easy and doesn’t take hours to play, we’ve found it to be one of our favorite ways to get the party started. We typically always play with the finisher cards since we’re a pretty hardcore group, but when I play with my family .. I like to take those cards out.
Try out the game yourself and see if you can finish..
